Bench Model Gap Frame Staking Press cont...

In general terms, a staking press allows 2 layers of material to be bound together without the need for any additional materials, adhesives, or fasteners. This is done by producing a protrusion of some kind in one of the materials being worked. This projecting piece is then pressed against the second material. Some common types of staking bonds are made through processes of indention, mashing, curling, or punching with sharp points to strengthen the tension. The result of all of these methods is a tight bond achieved without the use of additional products.

Magnum provides a full range of both standard and customized presses to enable you to get just the right staking press for the job. We offer over 60 standard bench model presses from 2 to 40 tons. For bigger jobs, we have 96 standard floor model presses from 4 to 250 tons. If none of our standard products fit your needs, we offer excellent customization services. Our team will work hard to meet your custom specifications and deliver a product to streamline your process and maximize productivity.

Why choose Magnum? We take great pride in offering our clients the highest quality products at the greatest value. All of our presses are built on reliable, fast-responding hydraulic systems and rock-solid frames. You can trust Magnum products, knowing that the entire system has been designed to minimize response time to give you more parts per shift. We also realize the importance of safety in your workplace. There are dual redundant safety features built into every standard press manifold. By using three solenoids to extend, and three to contract, we avoid the hazards produced by the failure of any one component.

Not all “off the shelf” presses are going to accommodate a client’s specific needs. Please allow our team at Magnum to help you put together the best strategy to obtain your manufacturing goals. We are confident that through our large selection of both standard and custom products, we have what you need for optimal performance and productivity.
